CW Pool Newsletter

General Information:

The Robesonia Pool is located at 161 S. Freeman Street Robesonia, PA 19551. If heading west on Route 422, make a left at the light at Ozgood’s onto Freeman Street, drive a few hundred yards and you will see the pool on your left. For any membership questions, off season, call at (484) 269-0066. To contact someone at the pool between Memorial Day and Labor Day call between the hours of 12:00 noon and 7:00 p.m..

The Robesonia Swimming Pool Association is a nonprofit organization and is not owned or run by any local municipality. The Robesonia Swimming Pool is funded by membership fees, donations, various fund raising activities, and with much help by volunteers.

Mission Statement:

The Robesonia Swimming Pool Association is committed to providing a safe and fun environment for the families in our rural community. Our primary focus is on developing swimming skills and encouraging social interaction among local children of all ages.

  • Pool Work Days:
    We need all of the help that we can get for PAINT DAY. Please come and paint for a few hours. We will be starting at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, 4/22. Come and help even if you can come later or must leave early.
  • Paint Day: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 (rain date is Saturday, April 29, 2017).
  • Cleaning/Set-up Day: 9:00 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 20, 2017.
  • Pool Opening:
    Opening day is Saturday, May 27, 2017 (Saturday of Memorial Day weekend). Weather permitting, pool hours will be noon to 7:00 p.m. (please see our website for hours of operation on days Conrad Weiser School is in session). Membership cards will be required for entry and may not be shared with anyone. Closing day is Monday, September 4, 2018 (Labor Day).
  • Parents-A Few Reminders:
    As required by the Pennsylvania State Health Board, any child still in diapers must wear a swim-diaper at all times when entering either swimming pool. Children under the age of ten (10) must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please watch your children in the Baby Pool. Thank you for your cooperation in these matters.
  • Membership:

    • Family Membership - $250.
      Family Membership is defined as including two (2) adults living in the same household and up to four (4) children aged twenty (21) or under, or full time college students, or in the military. The children need to be claimable on income tax return. Additional children after the initial four (4) shall be at a cost of $15 each.
    • Single Membership - $80.
    • Individual Senior Membership (You must be 60 years or older) - $70.
    • Babysitter Pass - $45 per person.
      • Babysitters must be an adult aged eighteen (18) or older to supervise children under the age of ten (10).
      • Babysitters can be under the age of eighteen (18) if attending with an adult who is eighteen (18) or older.
      • Babysitters can be under the age of eighteen (18) if the children are aged ten (10) or older.
      • Babysitters must be accompanying the child in order to use pass.
      • Babysitter passes can only be added to a Family Membership, and may not stand alone.
    • Daily Pass (one person for one day) - $8 on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
      No residency requirement. No membership sponsorship requirement. Daily Passes cannot be used for Moonlight Swims.

  • Membership Cards
    Membership Cards are nontransferable and only admit the person named. If someone other than the card holder uses or attempts to use another person’s card, Membership may be revoked for the card holder, Family Membership may be revoked, and reimbursement for daily pass(es) is expected.
    Proof of age and or family status may be required prior to receiving Membership Cards or at any time during the season.
  • Fundraisers:
    Fire company breakfasts and sponsorship opportunities for swim team. Please email us with any fundraiser suggestions, questions, or to volunteer at Various other activities including Pig Roast, Holiday Game Days, and Moonlight Swims.
  • Maintenance:
    Josh Stott and other volunteers have been very busy organizing pool improvements. Please volunteer to help on Paint Day and Set-Up Day.
  • Swim Team Sign-Up:
    The Roby Rays welcome back Coach Alex Crigler and Maggie Cardin this season! Registration forms for the Roby Rays 2017 Swim Team are available on-line to print out and mail in with your payment. Go to and click on Swim Team Registration Form.
    Please note that the registration fee for 2017 is $60.00 per swimmer. In accordance with BCSA regulations, all swim team members MUST be a member of the Robesonia Swimming Pool.

  • Activity Coordinator:
    We will have several special events for various age groups throughout the season.
    Moonlight Swims and SMORES nights will be back by popular demand. Moonlight Swims are family oriented but also open to anyone. You do not need to be a season pass holder to attend. Children ages nine (9) and under must be accompanied by an adult aged eighteen (18) or older. It is a great night to bring along your friends, coworkers, and extended family.
    We will email newsletters and calendars as well as post information at the pool once it opens.

  • Donations Needed:
    We are always looking for items that will help make the pool more enjoyable for everyone. Here are a few great ideas that would be welcome:
    Two (2) Refrigerators, working BBQ grills, sports equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, kick balls), bathroom supplies (liquid hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, gloves, etc.), interior/exterior paint, flags, large heavy duty trash bags, several trashcans (30+ gallons, must have lid and side flap opening due to rain and bees), box hockey frame, five matching sinks (perhaps you know of someone remodeling and getting rid of several). For Game Days and Moonlight Swims (not for the snack bar) cans of soda, candy (no chocolate or gum please), serving spoons.
